May 13--District I club presidents will be the guest of the district at a Longwood Gardens dessert lecture. ‘East Meets West – A Contrast of Floral Styles’ will be presented by Midori Tanimune and Jane Godshalk. The district meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Catalpa room. Following the program at 7:00 p.m. will be a dessert reception. All garden club members are invited to attend. Advance registration with Longwood Gardens is required. Call 610-388-1000 ext. 559. Register with program code 081SLFDE. Cost of the dessert lecture is $15.00.
