May 5, 2012--The Garden Class of The Woman’s Community Club of Uwchlan will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the historic Uwchlan Meeting House, 5 North Village Avenue, Lionville, PA 19353. Come early for the best selection of member-grown perennials, shrubs, and trees. Herbs, vegetables, annuals, and more are also offered. Proceeds from the sale benefit the 1756 Uwchlan Meeting House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. For additional information, please call Mary Jo Schlomann, 610-269-8450.
May 19, 2012--The Penn-Cumberland Garden Club will hold it's Annual Plant Sale from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the parking lot of the Metro Bank, 32nd and Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. In addition to all types of Plants, the sale includes other garden related items, equipment and statuary. Our Pressed Flower Designers will have a stand and there will be an Information Booth where members will answer garden related questions. June 19, 2012--The Penn-Cumberland Garden Club will host their Annual Rose Luncheon. A social hour will begin at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon and program will follow at 12:00 noon. This year's program is titled "Occasions become Special with Flowers" by Terri Maclay. Terri is founder and owner of Nature's Harmony. Plus, she is a Master Judge, a Garden Consultant, and a member of the Heartland Herb Society's Rosemary Circle. The event will be held at The West Shore Country Club, 100 Brentwater Road, Camp Hill, 17011. Reservations are due by June 11, 2012.
